Imagine that it is your birthday. Your friends and family have gathered to celebrate with you. After opening many wonderful gifts, you get to the last one. It is from your spouse. You open the package and inside is a beautifully crafted and mysterious looking box. You try to open the lid but it does not budge. Your friends start to offer suggestions about how to open the box. "There must be a hidden latch," one says. "Smash it open," says another. You give the box a thorough examination and find no buttons or hidden latches. A bit confused, you start to set the box aside when, almost as if by magic, a screen on top of the box illuminates. On the screen is a cryptic message explaining that the box will not open until all of the clues are solved. It then tells you to take the box with you to the place where you and your spouse first met. Piqued with curiosity you set out to discover where the box will lead you and, ultimately, what is inside. This is the gift of adventure.
Inside the box, which is also known as a Quest Chest, is a gift which was placed there by you. To receive the gift the Quest Chest must be opened. Opening the Quest Chest requires a recipient to take it to one or more real world locations. Clues given by the Quest Chest's embedded screen will guide the recipient to each location. Once each location is visited the Quest Chest will magically open revealing the gift that you have placed inside for them.
On the outside, the Quest Chest's sleek craftsmanship will make it a coveted possession long after the adventure is over. On the inside, it is a merger of several technologies that are designed to ensure that the adventure that you have planned is carried out without a hitch.
No two Quest Chests will ever be the same. This is because you will select the locations and the clues that will craft the adventure.
With the simple online interface you will be able to craft the perfect adventure for each Quest Chest you give. Locations can be selected from a simple map and guidance is given in formulating clues of all difficulty levels.
